SOlution
The development of the ads was inspired by collage. Through the grouping of several contrasting elements such as textures, fabrics, and photography the campaign reiterates the overall theme of recycling, revamping, reviving the old and creating something entirely new and original.
LEVI’S as mentioned before works to cut back waste, based on this idea the interactive campaign would revolve around upcycling old pairs of jeans. This would consist of people signing up for a competition on a set date and having distress, paint, modify their set of jeans, and later having them vote on a winner.
Lastly, the microsite is where the signup sheet for the competition would be placed followed by all the sustainable LEVI’s practices as well as additional information.

The contestants would also be required to upload an image of them wearing the jeans or of the creation process to Instagram using the hashtag #TRENDSETTER in order to enter. This is also another platform where contestants and others can view the finished designs.
